Engagement Coordinator
HJBW Enterprises, LLC d.b.a. Home Instead
Objective:
Provides assistance to enhance recruitment and engagement activities for the local franchise office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Reflect the core values of HJBW Enterprises, LLC, (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise).
- Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
- Assist office staff with engagement strategies for caregiver retention.
- Assist with creating employment records including but not limited to I-9 form, W-4 form and all other employment related documents.
- Assist with caregiver orientation and all training including training required to meet Home Instead® Standards and additional optional training
- Assist with regular performance conversations, accountabilities, and problem resolution.
- Assist with monitoring, mediating, and logging all client and caregiver activity utilizing the software system.
- Assist the administrative team with schedule coordination with emphasis on creating high quality matches and extraordinary relationships.
- Assist owner with planning and successfully executing caregiver meetings.
- Assist with monitoring compliance for local and federal labor and safety laws including but not limited to EOE, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA
- Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
- Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, caregiver, clients and family members.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Asssit with quality assurance visits for our clients and caregivers.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Conduct client/caregiver introductions as needed
- Conduct Service Inquiries as needed following the consultative sales process
- Perform any and all other functions deemed necessary
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
- HR experience helpful.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
- Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with office standards, practices, policies and procedures
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the senior care industry
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly work
- Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with the franchise owner, office colleagues, caregivers and the community
- Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, caregivers, clients and family members.
- Must have the ability to sit at a desk and listen effectively for long periods of time on the telephone
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
- Must have the ability to operate office equipment
- Must be patient and congenial on the telephone
- Must have computer skills and be proficient in Excel and Word
- Must have the availability to work evenings or weekends as required
- Must have the ability to perform duties in a professional office setting
Requirements:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly manner
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to but no more than 25 pounds
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs, alternating steps, with and without load
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Possess a valid driver's license, valid auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Must be able to work at our physical office location during defined work hours (this is not remote work)
